Power BI slicer add/remove search box
By default, there is no search box in Power BI Slicer visual.
So we have to enable the search box by this simple step:
Select the slicer visual > click on three dots(…) for more options > select search.
Similarly, if we again click on the search option then it disables the search box from Power BI Slicer.
This is how we can do Power BI slicer add/remove the search box.

Power BI slicer search box size- Is it Possible?
From some research, we get that there is no option to resize the search box on Power BI Slicer.
If we increase the size of the slicer, then the search box will increase. But there is a demerit that, increasing the slicer, will take more spaces on Power BI Report page.
Power BI slicer search select box
Now we will see how to add a select box on Power BI Slicer.
On Format Pane, expand selection controls:
Turn on the “Select all” option. This helps to select all the values in the slicer, so we can unselect them one by one to create an “is not” type filter.
Power BI slicer search font color
In the Power BI slicer, we can customize and set the color on search box. For this we have to follow these steps:
Step-1:
Select the Slicer > Go to Format pane(Pain roller icon) > Expand items.
Step-2:
Customize font color, Background to give color in each item of the Slicer including the Search box. Also, we can give an outline, Text size, and Font family to make it more attractive like this:

Power BI Slicer search in table visual
If we have a lot of text in a table visual in Power BI and want to search to find all texts with a specific character in them, then we can use a slicer to solve this. For this we have to follow these steps:
Step-1:
Create a table and slicer visual on Power BI. Here we take two charts. One is a table chart, that showing the product and its profit, and another one is a slicer visual that showing products.
Step-2:
When we put any character in the search box, it will be filtered and show value in a slicer. For example, here we enter ‘a’, then the chart will show only those data having ‘a’.
Step-3:
Now we can select any data from here and it will show the data in a table chart.
Slicers are interconnected with each other in a Power BI Report. This is how we can filter data in a table chart using a Power BI slicer.
