One week ago, I worked on a Travel Authorization Form where I created a Power Automate flow that generates a unique ID when a new travel request is added to the SharePoint list. At that time, the flow worked as expected.
However, when I opened it today, I saw an error saying, ‘Invalid connection, please update your connection to load complete details.’
Refer to the image below:

I searched on Google but couldn’t find a proper answer, which took time. After a while, I found a solution on my own. It may be ridiculous, but it worked and saved me.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you the steps to solve this error: ‘Invalid connection; please update your connection to load complete details’ error in Power Automate.
[Error] Invalid connection, please update your connection to load complete details in Power Automate
To resolve this error, follow the instructions below:
As the error suggests an invalid connection issue, I first tried to change the connection by clicking ‘Change connection,’ located at the bottom of the Parameters section. Check the screenshot below.

When I clicked the ‘Change connection,’ surprisingly, I got another new error saying:
{"name":"Host.ServiceException","code":"PostCallFailed","data":{"responseBodyError":{"code":"InvalidPath","message":"User with object id 'xxxxxxd0-f54e-xx3b-af7e-xxdcbdb1d084' and audience 'https://service.flow.microsoft.com/' does not have permission to call route 'GET/HTTPS:/PROVIDERS/MICROSOFT.POWERAPPS/CONNECTIONS'."},"responseStatusCode":403}}
After that, I went to the Power Automate home page, clicked More, and selected Connections.

Then, I deleted the previous connection and added a new one, but the error was still unresolved as you can see below.

Invalid connection, please update your connection to load complete details in Power Automate [Solved]
After that, I researched and found the easiest solution.
We must go to the flow that gave this error and disable the New designer toggle button.

When I disabled the new designer, it switched to the old designer, and my Power Automate flow worked fine, as shown in the screenshot below. Now no error is displaying in the flow.

This is how I solved the error: Invalid connection, please update your connection to load complete details in Power Automate. I hope you can fix it using this method. Please let me know in the comments section if you know of any other way to solve this error.
