In this post we will discuss how we can update the farm account credentials in SharePoint 2013 using Stsadm tool. Recently I changed the password and then I change the password in the application pool accounts, but I forget to update then farm account credentials.
So when I tried to create a web application then it gave me an error like below:
Sorry, something went wrong
The password supplied with the username Domain\Administrator was not correct. Verify that it was entered correctly and try again.

Open your command prompt and then go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\Bin folder
And then type below command and enter.
stsadm -o updatefarmcredentials -userlogin EnjoySharePoint\Administrator -password Qwerty@12345
