- Click + circled icon then add a new Section layout.

- After adding the Organization Web Part, we can enter the name or email address of the users in the modern SharePoint organization web part.
- In addition, we also have an option to rename the title of the organization’s web part.
- We cannot add external users to the organization chart web part.

Let us see how to edit the organization chart web part in SharePoint online,
- Edit the Organization chart web part, and in the property pane on the right, we can enter the number of reporting levels that we want to display.
- We can change the reporting levels number in the modern SharePoint Organization chart web part.
- It will display the people who are reporting to the mentioned user.
- Once we add the person’s name, it will appear in the top-most box, and everyone who notifies them will appear under that box.
- Select Republish to commit your changes.
In the below example, in the Name or email address prompt box, I mentioned the user name as Bijay Kumar, so that we can see the user’s who are reporting to Bijay Kumar.
- Now if we select the User name as Pretti Sahu we can see the user’s who are reporting to Preeti Sahu.
- The first level is Preeti Sahu reports to Bijay Kumar and the Second level is the user’s who are reporting to Preeti Sahu.
- In the same manner, if we select the User name Shivam Dorga we can see the user’s who are reporting to Shivam Dorga.
- The first level is Shivam Dorga reports to Bijay Kumar and the Second level is the user’s who are reporting to Shivam Dorga.
- We can also change the reporting levels number in the modern SharePoint by editing the Organization chart web part.

- To make a copy or duplicate of the Organization web part. Select the Duplicate option that is available in the Organization web part it will make a copy version of the web part.
- To delete your organization chart from the SharePoint Online site, select the Delete web part option in the toolbox.

How come I dont see this webpart in our sharepoint modern?
How come the when I type in a name in to generate the organisational chart only their name will pop up and nobody who reports to them even after altering the box where is says ‘number of levels reporting up’? – Thank you Bijay
Since the reporting manager is from Active Directory. Is there a way to manually override the reporting manager or customise in SharePoint because I have two domains in the same forest. Having two trusted domains in the same forest is preventing me from adding manager that isn’t in the same domain as the user.
Is there a way to show org with many layers ? Example Director and team – then the manager under director w/ their team members all in one web part?
