The Bing Maps web part is not available in the SharePoint Server 2019.
What is the SharePoint Online Bing Maps web part?
- The Modern SharePoint bing maps web part allows us to show a map on our SharePoint page.
- There are different map types available in the bing map web part, they are aerial or road.
- We also have an option to Pin, zoom in and zoom out the bing maps friendly.
- We can use the bing maps search to find an address or location easily in the modern SharePoint bing maps web part.
- The Bing maps web part is not available in SharePoint Server 2019.

Add Bing Maps web part in SharePoint online
Let us see how to add the Bing maps web part to the modern SharePoint site page,
- Open the modern SharePoint site page -> Select the Edit Page option -> Click on the + icon to add a new section layout and then select the + icon and add the Bing maps web part to the modern SharePoint site page.
- In the below screenshot, we can see that the Map is added using the Bing maps web part in modern SharePoint.
- In addition, we can add a title in the title area of the modern SharePoint bing maps web part.
- By default, it displays the road map type when we add the map to the Bing maps web part.
- To search for a location or address, we can use the bing maps search available in the web part as shown below, Select Republish to commit your changes.

Let us how we can edit and integrate the Bing maps web part to the modern SharePoint site page,
- In the below screenshot, you can see I have added the title as Bing Maps Web Part and added the Location as well.
- Edit the Bing maps web part and added the pin label on the map. If we enable the Show Pin label on the map toggle control to yes then we can see the other two options called Pin label and Address to display option,
- We can mention the pin label and the address that we want to display in the respective text box.
- If we disable the Show the Pin label on the map toggle control to No, then we cannot see the Pin Label option.
- We can add only the address that we want to show on our SharePoint modern Page. Select Republish to save your changes.
- We can also choose the type of maps that we want to display, Either we can select aerial or road. By default, road type map will be displayed.
- The below-represented image displays the road type map on the modern SharePoint page.
- The below-represented image displays the Aerial type map on the modern SharePoint page.
- If we select the Aerial type map, in addition, we can see the label option. If we enable the toggle control then we can view the labels in the Bing maps web part.
If we select the Aerial type map, in addition, we can see the label option. If we disable the toggle control then we cannot view the labels in the Bing maps web part.

- No, Currently there is no way to display the Multiple pins in the modern SharePoint Bing Maps web part.
- We can add a single pin and display and we cannot add multiple pins in the modern SharePoint bing maps web part.
Move, duplicate or delete the Modern SharePoint Bing maps web part
Let us see how we can move, duplicate or delete the Bing maps web part in the modern SharePoint.
To Move the Bing maps web part, select the Move web part option available in the Bing maps web part toolbox and locate it or move it to the new area.
Choose the Duplicate web part option available in the Bing maps web part toolbox and make a copy or duplicate of the Bing maps web part.
To delete or remove your Bing maps web part from the SharePoint Online site, select the Delete web part option available in the Bing maps web part toolbox.
