In this tutorial, I will show you how to resolve an audio issue in Dell laptop as “no audio output device is installed”. The error also comes as: no audio output device is installed or no audio devices are installed or no audio output device is enabled. The error no audio output device is installed comes in dell laptop.

Recently in my Dell laptop, I saw it is giving error as: “No audio output device is enabled.” like below:
Follow the below steps to resolve the issue.
Right click on the Volume icon and click on “Playback devices”
Then you can see the Playback tab looks blank and shows an error message as “No audio devices are installed” like below.
Right click on the above blank screen and choose “Show Disabled Devices“.
Now it will show all the disable devices like below:
Now right click on “Speakers/Headphones” and click on Enable like below:
Once it is enabled, you can see a green color tick mark in Speakers / Headphone.
After this, you can play sound int the laptop and the error No audio output device is enabled will not come.
