How to reset to out of box list forms from Nintex Forms customization in SharePoint Online

nintex forms

In this post, we will discuss how we can reset back to default out of box forms from forms which are customized using Nintex forms for Office 365. If you are new to Nintex forms for Office 365, then you can read how to work with Nintex Forms for Office 365. To try by your own, you can add Nintex forms for Office 365 app from the app store to Office 365 SharePoint Online site. They provide a free 30-days trial, where you can be able to use all the features and test it out.

Here I have already customized a list using Nintex forms for Office 365. Now I do not want to use Nintex forms, I want to revert back to old out of box forms.

Follow below steps to reset back to out of box list forms. Open the particular list and then from ribbon click on Nintex Forms which will open the Nintex Designer. Then from the Ribbon click on “Delete Form” as shown in the fig below:

This will ask for a confirmation message “Are you sure you want to delete this form?”. Click OK as shown in the fig below:

Once You click on OK, it will return back to the list. And when you will try to create one item to the list, this time it will open the default out of box forms.

Hope this will be helpful.
