In this post, we will discuss how we can export all list names to CSV file from SharePoint site using PowerShell. To find out list in PWA site or Web URL of SharePoint site. Follow from the below steps and exported the SharePoint list successfully.

– Open SharePoint PowerShell ISE with administrator permission and run below PowerShell cmdlet.

Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.Sharepoint.Powershell

$site = Get-SPSite “Your web URL”

$sitelists = foreach ($web in $site.AllWebs) {

foreach($list in $web.lists){ $list }}

$sitelists |select Title | Export-CSV C:\Users\Downloads\liststitles.csv

Remove-PsSnapin Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell

Run this script by pressing F5 or run button shown below

Note: here some access denied error will come as below, Assign full permission to located path and run this again.

– It will create a .csv file on located path.

– Result will open like below.
