In SharePoint we can embed code from sites like YouTube, Facebook or Twitter using embed code.

We can easily get the embed code from YouTube, right click on the YouTube video and click on Copy Embed Code like below:

Now we can embed YouTube videos in SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2013/2016. Open any SharePoint web page. And then edit the web page and then click on INSERT tab and then Embed Code like below and then enter the YouTube embed code like below:
Once you add the code Save the page, the YouTube Video will appear like below:
This way we can embed YouTube videos to SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2013/2016 sites.
Now we will see some difference between the Embed code and Script editor web part in SharePoint 2013/2016 or SharePoint Online.
Another major difference between these two is Embed code allows you to place the Iframe elements but Script Editor Web Part doesn’t allow. So Youtube, Twitter or LinkedIn or Facebook code you can paste through Embed Code.
