In this post we will discuss how we can deploy an administration approved InfoPath forms in SharePoint 2013. Here I have a simple Feebback InfoPath form which I have designed using InfoPath 2013 designer. You can even open your forms using InfoPath designer to deploy the form. This approach usually helps if you have code in your InfoPath form.

In the design mode, click on File then Publish and then click on SharePoint server option button as shown in the fig below:

Then it will ask you to provide the SharePoint server site URL. Give the URL like below:
Then in the Publishing Wizard select Enable this form to be filled out by using a browser checkbox. And then choose the radio button “Administrator-approved form template (advanced) option as shown in the fig below:
Next give a location where we want to Save the form, this path will be somewhere in your local drive. This path we need while uploading the form to central admin.
Here you can add the columns or fields you want to appear in the SharePoint.
In the next step it will ask to verify like below: The click on Publish.
This will display message that your form template was published successfully, like below.
Now we need to upload the form template to central admin. Open central administration, click on Manage form templates under General Settings as shown in the fig below:
Then click on Upload form template as shown in the fig below:
Browse to the location where we have saved the InfoPath form in the local drive as shown in the fig below:
Once click on Upload the form should be uploaded and the Status should be ready as shown in the fig below:
Now we need to activate the form for the site collection. Select the form and then Activate to a Site Collection as shown in the fig below:
Choose your site collection and click on OK as shown in the fig below:
Now if you will go to the site collection and then site collection feature in the site settings page you will be able to see one feature name as your form template should be activated.
And now we can add this content type to any document library. Open any document library, go to library settings and then in the library settings click on Advanced settings. In the Advanced Settings page click Select Yes on ”
Allow management of content types?” option. Then click on OK.
Now in the document library settings page, go to the content types section, then click on Add from existing site content types. Then choose the content type as shown in the fig below: Click on OK.
Now when you go to the Files tab and click on New Document, you will see our content type also like below:
When you choose that option, the deploy infopath form will open.
