In this Azure tutorial, we will discuss how to create a website in Microsoft Azure from Azure Portal. In the below also you can watch the video. We can use the Azure website to publish a web app in Provider hosted Add-in in SharePoint online.
Create website in azure portal
Let us see step by step how to create website in azure portal.
To create a website in Azure login to https://portal.azure.com/ with an Azure subscription.
Then in the Azure portal home page, click on the +New button and then click on Web + Mobile and then click on “Web App” like below:
Then in the Web App create screen enter the App name, choose the Subscription, Resource group etc. like below:
Once you will click on Create it will take some time to create the website. You can see the deployment succeeded message like below:
Then you can click on All resources link to see all the resources like below, where you can see all the site like below, click on the particular site which we have created in the above steps to see the details about the web app.
Then you can see the details about the web app like below:
You can click on the site url which will open the site in the browser.
