This tutorial will discuss how to configure outlook 2013 for email. Let us learn how we can set up an email account manually.
Configure email in outlook 2013
Follow the below steps to configure outlook 2013.
From the start menu, open Microsoft office 2013 then click on outlook 2013.
This will open the welcome page like below. Here click on Next.
After clicking on the Next add an email account page will come. Then we have to enable the yes (which is by default). Then click on next.
Then we will get add an email account page. Here we can click on either E-mail Account or manual setup .But we are selecting the manual setup or additional server types. Then click on next.
Her we will get choose service page then we have to click on POP or IMAP. Then we have to click on next.
Now we will get POP or IMAP settings page. Here we have to fill up your name, email address, incoming mail server, outgoing mail server, user name and password. Then click on more settings.
Now we will get an internet E-mail settings page. Then we have to click on general. Then click on ok.
Now we will get outgoing server then we have to enable use same settings as my incoming mail server (that is by default). Then click on ok.
Here we will get advanced and now we have to give outgoing server (SMTP) port. Then click on ok.
In that page only click on test account settings. Then we will get another pop of window. Then we have to click on close.
Now click on next your configuration will over. Then you can send and receive mail on email client outlook.
