In this post we will discuss how to resolve issue Can not allocate a new page for database ‘Server History Tracking’ because of insufficient disk space in filegroup ‘PRIMARY’. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or settings autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

Cause:
Due to wrong SQL job server tracking plan using SSIS package.

Resolution;
Deactivate these SSIS package fixed this issue.

The following actions may make space available in the filegroup.
Turn on AUTOGROW.
Add more files to the file group.
Free up disk space by dropping unnecessary indexes or tables in the filegroup.
Make sure there is enough Hard Disk space where database files are stored on server.

Turn on AUTOGROW for file groups
