This was happening in a SharePoint 2013 site which we have migrated from Moss 2007 to SharePoint 2013 by using the database upgrade approach. And here we were designing our own custom master page. In SharePoint 2013 as we know there were two file generated one is .master file and other one is .html file. We should only modify the .html file.
Open the html file in SharePoint 2013 designer and see if below tags are presented or not. If it is not presented make sure to add as it is in the .html file.
You can optionally search for “ContentPlaceHolderMain” and insert the snippets near by to that.
<!–SPM:<SharePoint:AjaxDelta id=”DeltaPlaceHolderLeftNavBar” BlockElement=”true” runat=”server”>–>
<!–SPM:<asp:ContentPlaceHolder id=”PlaceHolderLeftNavBar” runat=”server”>–>
<!–SPM:<SharePoint:AjaxDelta id=”DeltaPlaceHolderPageTitleInTitleArea” runat=”server”>–>
<!–SPM:<asp:ContentPlaceHolder id=”PlaceHolderPageTitleInTitleArea” runat=”server”>–>
One thing remember is that, if the tags are presented is should not be Visible=False. It should be Visible=True.
Save and publish the html page as major version. Then approve the html page if required. Now you should be able to see the list of apps templates.
Hope this will be helpful.
