In this post we will discuss about how we can change the default infopath 2010 form submission successful message in SharePoint. The default successful message that comes in infopath 2010 is "The form was submitted successfully.". Also you can check my previous posts on:
We can change The form was submitted successfully. message that usually appears if an infopath form successfully submitted. This we can change in the Submit Options dialog box. To change follow the below steps:
Open the infopath form in Design mode and then from the DATA tab in the Ribbon click on Submit Options as shown in the fig below.
Then in the Submit Options dialogbox, select the Checkbox Allow user to submit this form, And then click on Advanced >> button in the form like below:
Now in the form select the checkbox "Show this message if the form is submitted successfully:". And in the textbox enter what ever message you want to display as shown in the form below:
Then click on Ok, After that the new message will come if form successfully submitted.
