Follow below steps to add email address in System Account in SharePoint 2013:
Click on System Account and then click on My Settings as shown in the fig below:
This will open the User Information page. Then click on Edit Item link there.
Then in the Edit Personal Settings screen Enter the E-mail as shown in the fig below.
